Red Door have designed and delivered a development programme for Retail
Area Managers. The bespoke nature of the programme meant that each individual gained the
maximum value form the 9 month programme. Each delegate was able to choose form a menu of
options that included 1:1 coaching, 360 feedback , accompanied visits or team meetings.
They were also able to suggest topics for a number of workshops which were tailored to
the group development needs, and that of the business.
Linda and Tracy took time to really understand our business to make the
learning relevant, and to support an internal project that the group had been set by the Foundation.

Comments following a bespoke workshop on telephone communication for the PA Team at University of Exeter.
“I thought it was a professionally focussed bit of training, very engaging and transferable to each role in the room”
“A big thank you for an incredibly informative training session. It was great to spend some quality time with the team and I definitely feel as though I’ve come away with some great ‘pointers’ in how to deal with those slightly difficult calls! Thanks once again. Sophie”
“Thank you for the really helpful training session yesterday, Tracey. It was really useful to spend time working on these issues and you provided some really practical tools and phrases which I will definitely be posting up behind my phone ready for use!”
“I’m now constantly going over possible scenarios and my responses in my head, which shows how useful the training was and how interested I am in tackling this problem area. You gave us plenty of confidence and practical ways of dealing with our various callers – I can’t wait to ‘get stuck in’!”
“ I think we had 2 courses for the price of 1! Not only did we get really effective telephone training but we also gained a much better understanding of customer service in general, including some great tips on how we can best provide this on behalf of the University. A really practical and enjoyable course – thank you for making it fun!”

Linda and Tracy of Red Door Coaching and Training worked with Corin on our first in
house Managing and Leading Change workshop. The workshop’s key focus was on supporting managers to
identify business change, understand its effect on their teams and to help each other to deal with this.
I have found Linda and Tracy to be professional, flexible and responsive in the workshop planning
stages and feedback from managers has been very positive with all attendees finding the workshop
and its content beneficial and interesting on the day. Specific feedback included that the trainers
were friendly and good at drawing information out of people and that they provide good application
of theory to ‘real life’.
I look forward to working with Linda and Tracy again.

Linda has worked with us before on a Confidence course for two Young Mums groups.
She recently delivered another extremely upbeat and positive session on behalf of the Community Learning Team.
The workshop was part of a bespoke course we provided in partnership with the ‘Rethink’ charity,
who work to help everyone affected by severe mental illness recover a better quality of life. The aims of the session
included exploring the barriers to confidence, identifying learners’ own positive attributes and listing techniques to
improve personal self esteem.
We look forward to continuing collaboration with Red Door, because we know we can depend on
their professionalism and humour to ensure the success of our work with some of the most vulnerable members of society.

Red Door were quick to pick up the differences in our ways of working
compared with business and it was soon evident that they understood the HE context; how
we were "different" yet "similar" to business and use appropriate analogies in our workshops.
Linda has an open facilitation style which enabled us to change direction as issues unfolded
and so get the maximum from our sessions with her. She tailored her style and techniques
used to meet our emerging needs, whilst ensuring we still met the outcomes we had set.
The work with Red Door has had a real impact on us.

What a day! Without exception the staff could not believe that a
team day could be such fun. Linda drew everyone out, even those members of staff
who would normally sit quietly without any comment. Once started there were lots
of underlying grumbles that were discussed in the open and we cannot wait for the
next team day. Thank you.

Red Door Training worked with us to develop our senior staff team
and leadership skills. They were both responsive to our needs and flexible, modifying
their approach as different issues emerged. Linda's excellent facilitation skills gave
us maximum benefit from our Senior Team away days; enabling us to gain a much better
understanding of our individual strengths and how we could work more effectively together as a team.

We were delighted with the success of the Performance Development Review
workshops carried out by Red Door Coaching & Training. The feedback from
the Managers who attended has been very positive and they all feel better prepared
now to carry out their staffs appraisals. Tracy provided us with very practical
and valuable techniques for ensuring that we optimize this important management tool.
I am pleased to recommend Red Door to other organisations.

"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the work you
have been doing with us, in developing business associations/chambers of commerce in
town centres throughout South Gloucestershire.
As you are aware the project is proving to be very successful and this,
I believe is due in no small part to, the effort and work you and Tracy have put into the
facilitation of meetings with local businesses in the early stages of the project.
I look forward to a long and continued working relationship with Red Door Training."

"Having now experienced two training days with Red Door I would recommend
it to anyone looking to strengthen their Business. Tracy and Linda understood my training
and development needs and provided my staff with a fun, motivating day which included
all the business and personal development areas I wanted them to work upon. Red Door
designed an innovative Customer Journey which gave everyone an opportunity to contribute
their ideas about Customer Service and was brilliantly delivered to incorporate all learning styles.
The impact of the training was quickly evident in increased product sales and repeat bookings."

"Tracy from Red Door Coaching & Training provided a bespoke service
which enabled training to be delivered to suit our business needs and my learning style.
The training was spaced over a few months so that I could have time to learn, reflect,
put in to action and go back with any questions before our next session. I was also
able to email to Tracy any queries, so that she could provide suggestions and
recommendations before our next meeting. I thoroughly enjoyed the training and
had fun whilst learning. I would have no hesitation in recommending Red Door
Coaching & Training."

"Red Door Training worked with us to develop a strategic plan for our large and
diverse service. They listened astutely to our complex needs and were flexible
to our ever changing needs. At every stage we felt confident of meeting our goal.
A key factor in developing the strategy was to gain buy-in and input from staff
throughout the process, at all times the team at Red Door used their knowledge
and experience to draw the very best from our employees. Brilliant from beginning
to end, look forward to working with you again in the near future."

Comments following a Team Day for a large Doctor's Practice in Bristol.
The outcomes (of the day) far exceeded expectations.
It has given us the building blocks and the change of attitude I was looking for to now start to develop a raft of other initiatives.
None of this would have happened without you doing the pre workshop briefing sessions which enabled you to get to grips with us
organisationally and to build credibility with the wider staff team so that they would engage and allow themselves to be lead.
They (Red Door) have an understated way of making things feel very accessible and simple, yet achieve excellent results in
a very short time.

Linda and Tracy delivered a really enjoyable and informative programme across
our 4 shops and sales order office. They were very professional in their approach and the sessions
were well planned and aimed at a level that meant everyone got involved, and the ideas for improving
our service were really flowing.
We wanted to strengthen areas where we felt we were weak whilst building on our stronger
practises, and again the Red Door ladies identified those needs very quickly, and with the teams being
trained, worked with them to give us a new standard which we all feel comfortable with, and will ultimately
give all of our customers a more enjoyable shopping experience.

I have just completed my latest project with Red Door where they delivered a leadership and
management programme centred around Motivation. I have been delighted with the results. I
have always been impressed by the innovation and creativity they bring to their leadership
and management programmes. Red Door has developed a vast portfolio of leadership and management
training and coaching material. Linda and Tracy are very passionate about their work and presented
many options to me. Once we agreed the brief and desirable outcomes, they crafted the programme
to suit our needs. They certainly knew their subject in depth.
Some comments have been - "Really interactive and constructive", "They were so
easy to talk to and it made me really think about how I motivate my staff", "The great thing is
I have an action plan which I own and has not been forced on me".
Red Door has been consistently very professional and their commitment to do a
great job was very evident throughout.

We spent a thought-provoking and most productive facilitation day with Linda and Tracy,
which enabled us to talk through and consolidate our ideas, identifying which ones
were the most important to fulfil our requirements, and how we could achieve them.
We ended the day with a firm plan and attainable goals. Their professional, friendly
and fresh approach leaves us with no hesitation in recommending Red Door to other
businesses needing help to find a practicable way forward.

"We were delighted with the upselling/cross selling training delivered
by Red Door. The Bar Challenge is now on its second "challenge" and staff are enthused
in selling pink fizz, mince pies and mulled wine! You gave us all a lot to think about
and we are going to make sure that the suggestions are put into action.
Thanks for your help and for making the session relevant and enjoyable. It was really
valuable for me to come in at the end of the session to here from the staff directly
what you had been discussing and what they needed from the management team to be able
to improve on what and how we sell.
Thanks for everything and I hope that we get to work with you again in the not too distant future."

"We worked with Red Door on a team and vision building event at
an early stage in our senior management team's formation. Red Door's warmth made
everyone quickly comfortable to participate and their professionalism throughout
got the best of us all. We concluded the day with a better sense of how to work
together effectively and a more purposeful direction. Ideal intervention in a new
team's journey that has given us substance and spirit to go forward together."

"I had the pleasure of getting to know Linda and Tracy when I was seeking
training support for our expanding International business. I had a number of
programmes that needed to be delivered to overseas accounts and was looking
for experienced training managers who would be able to deliver not only
effective training but also adapt quickly to the cultural nuances of each
country.
Linda and Tracy proved to be a huge asset to me, they were very low
maintenance, wonderfully self sufficient and resourceful. I knew that I
could send them anywhere in the World and the job would be done to the
highest possible standard. The evaluations from course delegates were
consistently high with most commenting on their professionalism and
knowledge but also the fact that they brought fun into the training
environment. In addition they were very sensitive to changing requirements
driven by culture and I was always confident that they would respond and
adapt as necessary.
I would certainly have no hesitation in recommending this training
partnership to any organisation"

"Red Door Coaching and Training were recommended to me by a colleague
who said it would be good to give them a try. I was stuck in my and could not see a
way forward. Tracy was such a lovely person with whom I enjoyed having our meet/telephone
conversations. We had our initial meeting in person where we discussed my frustrations and
how I could move my career/life on. Through discussion I came to realise what changes I
could make. Although I knew what I needed to do, it was useful to bounce ideas off someone
completely independent of work or home life just to get a fresh perspective. We agreed
realistic goals to work towards for career and life style changes and reviewed these at
each session. With Tracy's help it didn't seem such a daunting task and I'm now in the
mind set of being able to complete this on my own. I would recommend this service to
all my work friends/colleagues."

"Strong and flexible facilitation skills by Linda at Red Door to support a new
team in a change environment have enabled us to build a focussed long term strategy
to exceed our customers expectations.
Ongoing coaching by Linda of all the team members is seeking to ensure that we
meet our aspirational goal individually and as a team.
This provision of both the facilitation and coaching has provided a motivation
to succeed within the team that may have taken far longer to build without this support."
